1. Data collected
Ganoto may collect the following categories of data, depending on the route used:
- Account: first name, last name, e-mail, telephone, connection method, address, country, consent and version of the accepted policy.
- Vehicle application: vehicle type, brand, model, year, characteristics, equipment, indicative availability, area, vehicle address if necessary, and preferences linked to the rental framework.
- Renter request: city or area, period, type of vehicle sought, expressed need and preferences useful for establishing contact.
- Source and measure: origin page, referrer and campaign parameters when this information exists.
- Browser storage: local or session copy that lets you resume an account, request or application from the same device.
2. Responsible and contact
The person responsible of collection is Ganoto. For any request relating to your data, contact support@ganoto.com.
3. Purposes
This data is used to:
- create or resume an account;
- clarify a request or prepare a vehicle application;
- understand useful cities and categories;
- improve future search filters;
- approximately check the availability zones;
- secure exchanges;
- contact people again concerned.
The exact address of a vehicle is never publicly displayed.
4. Why we process this data
First, because you choose to take action by creating an account, submitting a request or completing an application. Some data may also be required to:
- respond to a request;
- ensure the security of the service;
- keep proof of consent;
- manage our relationship with you;
- comply with our legal obligations.
5. Source and measurement
Ganoto may record the originating page, the referrer and campaign settings to understand which channels are bringing in useful accounts, requests or cases.
6. Local storage, transmission and email backup
The site sends Ganoto the data required for your account, request or vehicle application. To avoid losing your entries, a copy may also be kept in your browser's local storage until you delete it, clear your browser data or remove it from this page.
If submission through the site fails, a fallback email option may be offered. This email is deliberately limited and must not contain sensitive documents: do not attach any identity document, driving licence, vehicle registration certificate, insurance document or banking information.
7. Recipients and tools
Your data is accessible to authorized persons at Ganoto, and to the necessary technical service providers: hosting, connection, request management, e-mail, campaign measurement, payment, protection or support. Some may process data outside Switzerland; Ganoto then puts in place the necessary contractual guarantees. Ganoto never sells your data.
8. Sensitive documents
Do not send any identity document, driving licence, vehicle registration certificate, insurance policy or banking information through the public form or by email. When these documents are required, Ganoto will direct you to the appropriate secure channel or module.
These documents are not intended to be displayed publicly or shared freely between users. Other users receive only the statuses or information needed for the application, unless a controlled process is required by the applicable legal, insurance or operational framework.
To speed up the review of a vehicle application, Ganoto may send the vehicle registration certificate and a vehicle photo to an automated analysis provider, currently the OpenAI API. The service extracts only the necessary fields, checks legibility and flags inconsistencies. These checks may contribute to publication only when the document has already passed the required human or documentary verification and every predefined criterion is met. They never issue an automatic refusal: any uncertainty, inconsistency or suspicion triggers a human review, which is also available on request at support@ganoto.com.
Ganoto deactivates the application recording of the response at this service provider with the parameter store: false. This does not exclude possible security logs kept according to the configuration and applicable contractual conditions. The processing may involve a transfer of data outside Switzerland; Ganoto verifies and documents the countries concerned, subcontractors and applicable contractual guarantees before activation in production. Minimized documents and results are never displayed to other members.
8.1. Prestataires, paiements et automatisations
Ganoto utilise notamment Supabase pour l’authentification, la base de données, les fonctions serveur et le stockage privé; Stripe et Stripe Connect pour les moyens de paiement, les paiements et les versements; Infomaniak pour le site public et le back-office; et OpenAI pour certains contrôles documentaires et certaines estimations tarifaires. Ces prestataires ne reçoivent que les données nécessaires à leur tâche.
Ganoto ne conserve pas le numéro complet ni le cryptogramme d’une carte. Stripe peut retourner un identifiant technique, la marque, les quatre derniers chiffres et l’échéance afin d’afficher le moyen de paiement enregistré.
Pour proposer une estimation de prix, le moteur peut traiter le type, la marque, le modèle, l’année, la ville, le pays, la devise et les prix comparables. Il n’a pas besoin de l’adresse personnelle de l’utilisateur. L’estimation reste indicative et ne modifie jamais automatiquement le prix choisi par le propriétaire.
La publication d’un véhicule peut utiliser des contrôles automatisés prédéfinis. Une annonce suffisamment cohérente peut être publiée sans validation humaine systématique. Une incohérence, une donnée illisible, un risque ou une dépendance manquante entraîne une demande de correction ou un examen humain. Aucun refus définitif fondé uniquement sur une analyse automatisée n’est appliqué sans possibilité de demander un examen humain à support@ganoto.com.
8.2. Retours bêta et contexte technique
Le module « Avis » peut enregistrer la description libre, la catégorie, l’écran concerné, la plateforme, la version de l’application, la langue, des diagnostics techniques limités et, lorsque l’utilisateur la joint volontairement, une capture d’écran. Les secrets, jetons, mots de passe, champs de paiement et documents privés sont exclus ou masqués avant envoi dans la mesure prévue par le dispositif technique.
Les retours similaires peuvent être regroupés automatiquement et transformés en tâche de vérification pour le back-office. Une personne autorisée doit confirmer la correction avant clôture. Les rapports sont conservés par défaut jusqu’à 180 jours et les captures jusqu’à 90 jours, sauf suppression anticipée, obligation légale, incident, litige ou mesure de conservation justifiée.
9. Conservation
Your data is retained for as long as needed to manage your account, request, vehicle application, communications, service security and our legal obligations. You may request its deletion; however, certain information may be retained where required by law, evidence of consent, an incident, a dispute or security needs.
10. Your requests
You can request access, correction, withdrawal of your consent or deletion of your data by writing to support@ganoto.com. Ganoto may ask you for additional information to identify the account, request or application concerned.
Pour supprimer votre compte GANOTO et les données qui lui sont associées, écrivez à support@ganoto.com depuis l'adresse e-mail utilisée pour le compte, avec l'objet « Suppression de mon compte GANOTO ». Après vérification de votre identité, le compte et les données qui ne doivent pas être conservées sont supprimés. Certaines informations peuvent rester archivées pendant la durée requise par la loi, la prévention de la fraude, la sécurité, un paiement, un litige ou la défense de droits.
